Where Are We?

After years of waiting, praying, and preparing, we are very close to our departure for Papua New Guinea. Just over 2 months to go! Wow! It's kind of surreal.... It feels like it's been a long wait; so much has happened since God first put the desire to be missionaries in our hearts as young teenagers. We're a lot older and wiser now... wise enough to realize how much we still don't know. But we're excited to be following God, because He knows it all!

So where are we in the process of our preparation?

Paperwork: We are currently working on Kyler's paperwork. We just applied for his passport today. As soon as we receive that, we will be able to apply for our PNG visas, which usually take about a month to process.

Support: We also are trusting God to continue raising up our support team. New Tribes Mission requires us to have 75% of their recommended support level pledged before we can leave. Praise God, we are currently at 62% of the recommended support level! We are humbled and grateful to see so many with the desire to partner with us in this ministry! If you'd like more info on our needs, click here.

Tickets: After we finish our paperwork and have the necessary support, we can purchase our tickets for PNG!

Packing: And finally, we will be working a lot on sorting our things in the next few months, figuring out what to take, get rid of, and leave in storage. For those interested, we will most likely put together a small list of things we will be needing, so stay tuned for more info.

There's a lot to do and not a whole lot of time. We've also got a trip to Georgia planned for June 4-15 (yay!). But we're excited to see God bringing all of the details together!
